Police Scotland are appealing for information following a report of damage being
caused to a white Toyota van, which was parked outside Stòras Uibhist’s office in
Daliburgh, South Uist.
The incident is believed to have taken place between Wednesday, 10 July, and Thursday,
29 July.
Significant damage was caused after an unknown person filled the rear of the van
with approximately one tonne of rocks and rubble.
Constable John Maxwell, from Benbecula Police Station, said: “We are carrying out
enquiries into this matter and would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
“You can call police on 101, quoting reference number CR/0307693/24.”
