A tractor overturned onto a rowing boat as an operation to haul the craft out of the sea went badly wrong.
The boat was apparently being pulled up a slip on the Branahuie Bay side of the Bràighe in Point, Lewis, when the tractor toppled over the edge and smashed on top of it early on Friday evening.
Members of the public and police officers assisted in righting the tractor.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
