Police in Stornoway are investigating deliberate damage that was caused to a Volvo XC60 in the town’s Balmerino Drive.

The incident occurred between 9pm last Saturday, 7th September, and the following afternoon.

The car was scratched along one side, scratched on the front and rear bumpers and also scratched across the doors.

Western Isles Police are appealing for information in relation to the incident.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity between these times or who may have captured something on their doorbell camera is asked to contact 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Meanwhile, another two cars were deliberately damaged in Stornoway on the same weekend.

An Audi A3 and a Volkswagen Polo on Westview Terrace were targetted between 12.30pm and 6.30pm on Sunday.
