Police Scotland say there are no suspicious circumstances over the sudden death of a man in Stornoway.
A post mortem has been carried out after the 48-year-old was discovered dead within a property on Macmillan Brae on Monday morning.
At the time police said his death was “unexplained.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Following an investigation and a subsequent postmortem, we can confirm that the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
As is usual in sudden death cases, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
