Shellfish trawler sinks in sealoch

A shellfish trawler has sunk in a Lewis sealoch.
FV Heather Isles went down in Loch Grimshader, North Lochs, on Tuesday.
Nobody was onboard the 18-metre-long vessel which had been anchored in the bay for the last couple of years
The 57-year-old fishing boat’s sinking was witnessed by a passerby, it is understood, who was astonished to see her relatively quickly slip beneath the waves in flat calm weather.
The cause of the sinking is unknown.
