Cutting the anniversary cake are former pupils, Heidi Macleod, Dr Frances Murray (rector of the Nicolson Institute secondary school) and Anne Young.
Former pupils joined in the event.
It was a tight squeeze to fit everyone into the school hall.
The children enjoyed the day.
