Job title: PENSION WISE Guidance Specialist
Location: Lewis CAB but consideration for other areas in the Western lsles
Hours per week: Full time (35 hours per week)
Type of contract: Fixed term to end of March 2021 (possibility of extension)
Salary: £24,698 + Island Allowance per annum + 6% pension contribution
Pension Wise is the free and impartial HM Government service providing guidance to people about their defined contribution pension options.
Western Isles Citizens Advice Service is currently recruiting a Pension Wise Guidance Specialist. The successful candidate will provide quality information and guidance to defined contribution pension savers over the telephone & face to face, helping them to make better choices about their pension options.
You will have proven knowledge of pensions’ law & practice gained in a technical pensions’ role coupled with a thorough understanding of occupational and personal pension products and wider retirement issues. Strong communication and skills and numerical ability are essential.
