A Stornoway man who was reported missing last night has been found.

A large search was launched after concerns grew for the wellbeing of Calum Naan.

The search included Inverness coastguard helicopter scouring the Laxdale, Cearns and castle grounds areas.

The 49-year-old was last seen in the Shiaram Court area of the town on Tuesday night.

Police Scotland confirmed he has been traced and is “safe and well.”

Police thanked the public for their assistance in their appeal for information.
