A man reported missing from his home in Ayr is thought to be in the Western Isles.
Contact was last made with Michael Webster two weeks ago.
He has links with Dingwall and was seen there on Wednesday, 5 February.

It is believed that he may have travelled to Stornoway on that evening’s ferry.
Concerns are growing for his safety, particularly given the amount of time he has now been out of contact.
Police have issued an appeal to help find him.
Mr Webster is described as being 6ft tall and of medium build with brown hair.
The keen walker is known to camp out or sleep rough.
Chief Inspector Brian Anderson, South Ayrshire area commander, said: “Officers are keen to establish that he is safe and well.
“Anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Michael at any time since he was last seen is asked to make contact.
“If Michael himself sees this then please get in touch to let us know you are safe and well.”
