Loganair is introducing new islander fares on selected routes and flights for air discount scheme (ADS) members.
Two Stornoway services - Edinburgh and Inverness - will benefit from the initiative which launches today (Monday).Other Western Isles flights are excluded.
The airline said new fares which starting from £50 one-way will help island residents to travel more frequently at reasonable cost, recognising that fuller flights will help to share the burden of increased running costs such as fuel.
Only ADS eligible customers will be able to access the new fares.
One-way prices start from £50 to or from Inverness and £60 upwards for an Edinburgh flight.
The Glasgow to Barra or Benbecula services are excluded from the scheme.
