Stornoway ferry sailings are cancelled for the rest of today (Tuesday) due to heavy seas on the route.
MV Loch Seaforth remains in Ullapool until conditions improve.
Her skipper will review the potential for undertaking a freight sailing from the mainland in the early hours following weather forecast updates.
Passenger sailings are due to resume tomorrow (Wednesday) though the morning run
from Stornoway remains on yellow alert. Livestock and horses will be carried on a
case-by-case basis.
