Lewis War Memorial Remembrance Sunday ceremony
12 November 2023
Islanders paid their respects to the war dead at remembrance services across the Western Isles this weekend.
Wreaths were laid at a number of events at some community and village memorials on Saturday but most ceremonies took place today (Sunday).
A large crowd observed a two-minute silence at the islands’ main service at the Lewis War Memorial in Stornoway.
