Thickening sea mist today resulted in disrupted and cancelled air flights.
This afternoon’s inbound Glasgow flight circled Stornoway airport before diverting to Inverness. Passengers were later flown from the Highland capital , landing successfully at the island airfield.
Morning flights between Stornoway, Inverness and Glasgow were cancelled as a result of low visibility.
Two out of today’s three return flights for Barra were also affected
