Stormy weather with strong winds driving the high tide risks flooding and potentially road closures in some areas of the Western Isles said environmental agency Sepa which has issued flood warnings.
South easterly winds may cause wave or spray overtopping and cover roads with debris. The highest risk is either side of the high tides which were predicted for 7am in Barra and around 8.20am in Stornoway.
Flooding and spray is possible at Stornoway harbour and at low-lying, roads and properties, particularly Newton St, Quay St, South Beach and North Beach said Sepa.
The agency said conditions may result in the closure of closure of the Vatersay causeway and road to the village, both main causeways in Uist as well as Berneray causeway.
Baleshare causeway risks being with a layer of seawater over the single track roadway. Low lying land in the vicinity - up to Clachan - could also be affected.
