Flood alert issued for Western Isles

A flood alert has been issued for Western Isles.

Scotland’s environment agency, SEPA, said: “This alert is for coastal flooding.

“Due to high water levels there is a risk of flooding from the sea to low lying areas of the coasts from Wednesday evening.

“Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.”
