Fire alert on Stornoway fishing boat

Fire crews have been tackling a fire on a fishing boat in Stornoway harbour.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said three appliances responded to a fire in the engine room of a fishing boat berthed at Lazy Corner in the inner harbour.
There were no casualties. She said there four firefighters donned breathing sets
and personnel used jet hoses during the incident onboard the Stornoway-
It is thought the incident is connected to welding repairs which was apparently being undertaken at the time.
Coastguards and police also attended the incident after then the alarm was raised at 1.30pm.
