Hebridean Smokehouse is looking for new members to join the fish processing and smoking team.

Full-time and part-time posts are offered on a year-round basis with our small but highly motivated team at our factory at Clachan, Isle of North Uist. No previous experience in fish processing is needed, however previous experience in food manufacture or handling is an advantage. Full training given in a wide range of skills including filleting, trimming, salt curing salmon then the finishing and packing of the smoked salmon.

The job requires a reasonable level of fitness and takes place in a temperature-controlled environment that has a wet environment and high levels of hygiene. Transport to and from work is not provided but there is public transport available to Clachan from all directions. Driving licence holders are preferred.
