Fire crews have been tackling a blaze at a house in the Back area of Lewis.
Four tenders attended the scene - from Stornoway, Shawbost and Ness.
The alarm was raised around 2.30pm and crews were at the incident throughout the
afternoon and into the evening.
Two fire personnel donned breathing apparatus sets while tackling the fire.
Fire fighting efforts were hampered by strong gusty winds which fanned the flames.
Meanwhile, fire crews in the Lewis extinguished the flames at a burning house at
a separate call-out earlier this week. The domestic property in the Newmarket area
of the island was damaged in Tuesday morning incident.
