Hebrides News

Ferry services for Tarbert and Lochmaddy are cancelled this morning after the MV Hebrides developed a “technical fault.”

Passengers and vehicles for Harris were transferred onto the Stornoway - Ullapool route.

The Loch Seaforth departed late around 7.40am after waiting for traffic from Tarbert.

The Saeforth will be running late over the day as a result.

Traffic on booked for the late afternoon departure from Tarbert has been booked on the lunchtime ferry out of Stornoway.

The Hebrides is stuck in Uig and it is unclear if she will be repaired to undertake any sailings later in the day.
