A number of ferry services face disruption on Friday - particularly in the morning due to strong winds and rough seas.
MV Lord of the Isles will delay her departure from South Uist for over an hour as swell conditions are expected to start easing. The afternoon sailing from Mallaig will benefit from an improvement in the weather.
Friday morning sailings - including the freight run - on the Stornoway - Ullapool service are liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.
MV Hebrides is operating additional sailings to help transport some of the backlog of vehicles from the Sound of Harris cancellations. She sailed from Tarbert to Lochmaddy on Thursday night and will undertake an early morning run in the reverse direction.
