Emergency services Christmas convoy

Santa joined the emergency services on their Christmas convoy tour around Stornoway this afternoon.
Passersby paused their last minute Christmas shopping to wave as the line of vehicles wound its way through the town.
Sirens rang and blue lights flashed as the convoy headed to Parkend as well as Marybank, Newvalley and Newmarket.
Police, Hebridean Mountain Rescue, coastguards, ambulance, Stornoway Airport fire service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service all participated in the event.
