EDF festival set to rock Benbecula

Eilean Dorcha Festival (EFD) has released the final batch of tickets for this summer’s two-day festival in Benbecula.

The event offers its most ambitious line-up ever with a host of singers and bands performing on the Linaclete machair next month.

Some of the best Scottish talent will take the stage including headliners Tide Lines who return for the first time since 2017.  

Friday is a mix of World famous DJ’s GBX, Ultrabeat Ian Redman, Ian Van Dahl, Sparkos, with dance superstars QFX, the brilliant Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Cammy Barnes, and the tremendous talents of Saint PHNX, The Eves, Valtos, Trávee, Levi Heron, Rob Muir and Ali McFly.

Festival favourites, Trail West, who won the Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards are set to wow the crowds on the Saturday. Mànran is also a big draw.

Also performing will be the brilliant Cammy Barnes, The Eves, Project Smok, Valtos and Rob Muir.

Home-grown Beinn Lee will be playing while Gaelic man-of-the-moment, Ruairidh Gray of South Uist, has his own spot.

Add to that the local talents of Dylan MacPhee, Arabella Manchester, and Alana MacInnes.

The event would not be complete without the ever popular Alex & Friends.

Festival-goers are promised a whirlwind of fun at this summer's event with with the arrival of the world famous Codona's Funfair with thrilling rides including the Twister, classic Waltzers, the family-favourite Funhouse, and a delightful train ride on the Machair for the little ones.

EDF aims to be a completely green event this year with  biodegradable and organic with all packaging at the food outlets and using plant-based bar glasses.
