Driver taken to hospital following crash

A motorist is being treated in hospital following a crash at Griminish in Benbecula
this morning.
A Mitsibishi Shogun vehicle ended up off the carriageway close to the medical practice.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.05am on Tuesday, 22
October, to a report of a one car crash at Griminish, Benbecula.
“Emergency services attended and the driver, a man, was taken to hospital for treatment.”
A section of the road was closed at the location for several hours.
