A drink driver who was four times the legal limit admitted the offence when his case called in Stornoway Sheriff Court.
Andrig Zhuravlov of Sandyhills, Glasgow, had an alcohol reading of 89mcg against the allowable maximum of 22mcg.
He was caught on Matheson Road, Stornoway, in March.
His not guilty plea to failing to stop and provide his details after allegedly colliding with a wall was accepted by the procurator fiscal.
Sheriff David Sutherland called for reports and deferred sentence to a later date.
