Community Activities Administrator

The Embark Project

Volunteering Hebrides is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Activities Administrator to support the work of the Embark Project.

We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic and encouraging individual who enjoys working with people, has a keen eye for detail and is able to plan and prioritise effectively within a busy and sensitive environment.

The post-holder will be responsible for the administration, co-ordination and promotion of a wide range of activities in the local community, which will include:

Cycling to work schemes
Island-wide active travel challenges – cycling and walking
Community Treasure Hunts – cycling and walking
Free bike taster sessions – ebikes and mountain bikes
Recruiting volunteers and organising training courses

Salary £18,200 to £21,100 (pro-rata), 20 hours per week
