The Hebridean Baker has been travelling the islands, with the ITV film crew, to capture the beautiful landscape and culture, while making some of his own recipes for ITV viewers to enjoy. Broadcast as a series of three episodes, the final one is to be aired during tomorrow’s (Tuesday) programme and will feature the Charles Macleod shop.
As longstanding family friends, Charles Macleod were delighted to welcome Coinneach and the film crew into the butcher shop earlier in the month, so they could learn about the history of the famous Stornoway black pudding.
Ria Macdonald, director of Charles Macleod Ltd, commented: “It is always a pleasure to work with Coinneach, he is a fantastic story teller and there is no one better to showcase these beautiful islands and our black pudding to a national audience.
