Celebrating community ownership

The work of community landowners is being celebrated across Scotland this week, with a programme of activities and events.

Land Reform Secretary Roseanna Cunningham said:

"This is an exciting time for land reform in Scotland, with a growing number of community groups taking advantage of opportunities to acquire land and buildings in their area for community use.”

She added: “Community Land Week is a great way to celebrate these diverse and worthwhile projects, from the Western Isles to the Scottish Borders. I would encourage everyone to get involved - either in person at one of the many events taking place, or online.”
