CalMac has published its summer 2024 ferry timetables today (Thursday).

However, the schedule for the last month of the season’s sailings is postponed until further notice.

Bookings and advanced purchase for available sailings up to 30 September will open to the public in three sections.

Phase one routes are expected to open for bookings on 18 January, phase two on 23 January, and phase three - which includes the Skye triangle service - on 12 February.

The timetables will initially be published for the period 29 March – 30 September, while timetables from 1 – 20 October will be published once vessel deployment plans for the annual overhaul schedule for next winter are confirmed.

Islay and Colonsay timetables are missing from today’s list due to port infrastructure works. CalMac said its is engaging with impacted communities.

Pauline Blackshaw, Director of Strategy and Change at CalMac, said: “I am pleased to confirm that summer timetables are now available, and I would like to thank our customers, communities and businesses for their patience.

“Launching our timetables on a phased basis allows us to share information with our customers so that they can begin planning and allows us to open bookings as quickly as possible. I would like to extend my thanks to our customers for their support.”

The summer timetable is at www.calmac.co.uk/customer-updates/summer-2024-timetables.
