Branch Manager

Stornoway
Objective
To sell company goods and services to existing, new and potential customers.
To support staff with Admin, stock ordering and general everyday tasks.
40 hours plus Saturday rota
Permanent
Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
Responsible for
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Manage the handling of all monies received and credited in all areas of the branch.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships and handle any queries and complaints in an appropriate manner.
Manage company-
Coordinate delivery schedules for merchandise and services as necessary.
Report to the Senior Management Team as necessary through a variety of status reports,
including follow-
Communicate new products, service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered to all staff through Toolbox Talks
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce excessive stockholdings ensuring stock management is controlled
Adhere to all MIS Ltd policies and procedures including those relating to health and safety and environment protection (including the risk assessment, COSHH and DSEAR processes).
Ensure departmental compliance in accordance with the company quality assurance procedures.
Manage the activities of the team members including appraisals, attendance, performance management and training needs analysis.
Security of the branch
Most meetings and training will be carried out on the job, but on occasions will be carried out in the Inverness Head
Office so ability to travel and work from other locations will be necessary.
Working Relationships
Ability to supervise, encourage and contribute to existing team.
Internally: Daily contact by telephone or in person, with other team members and other branches.
Externally: Daily contact with customers in person and by telephone.
