Teams searching for a missing teenager have found a body.

Police Scotland say a body was recovered from the Lews Castle grounds.

While formal identification has yet to take place, the family of missing person Hannah Mackenzie has been informed.

The 17-year-old from Gravir in Pairc, Lewis, was last seen yesterday afternoon.

A major search focused around the Lews Castle grounds after information emerged she was spotted at the Creed Lodge - one of the entrances to the grounds.

The search was stood down around 5pm this evening (Fri).
