Dear Sir,
Angus Brendan MacNeil is on our side and that is why I will be sticking with him
at this election.
One of the things we must never forget is Angus’ role in helping us to get better
fuel prices and competition in the market. Working with Angus I could see he has
an intuitive understanding of many business issues and how a crofting community works.
Angus has had the guts to leave his party, and represent what his constituents want,
not what a party whip wants him to say. If every politician did that and we had all
independents standing in parliament representing what their constituents want and
not being influenced by a party whip, we would be in a much better place today. We
need an independent thinker to represent us and not a nodding dog.
I will never forget the help we got from Angus when my wife's family were stuck in
a war zone in Ukraine. He worked tirelessly to help us get my wife’s family to safety.
This was a traumatic time for us all but with Angus Brendan MacNeil on our side we
managed to get our family safely here to live with us.
I know that Angus has helped many people as well as us, he is fantastic constituency
MP.
